A little about myself: I’m a native New Yorker, born just 2 months after my parents immigrated to the U.S. from present-day Ukraine. I’ve always been fascinated by storytelling. As a kid, this manifested as a love for theater. I became a professional actor as a teenager in NYC, performing regularly in the experimental downtown arts scene, and then pursued a career in the theater as an actor, director, and playwright after I graduated from Vassar. I loved the challenge of diving into different characters’ psyches—each a unique puzzle to crack—and then discovering how to successfully communicate their stories to an audience.

When I made the decision to leave the theater industry, my 10+ years of storytelling experience (including a Master of Fine Arts degree) proved to be a natural fit for the world of marketing. After all, both disciplines are about crafting a coherent narrative, understanding your audience, and identifying the best way to make a connection. I started my marketing career working on field programs and then transitioned into content marketing, where I firmly cemented my identity as a marketer. I work fast: I was able to quickly expand my knowledge and skill set—branching out from content into marketing ops, lifecycle, PR, brand, and product marketing—and achieved my first Director role as a marketing leader in under 3 years. 

By the way, my last name is pronounced KOH-pit. My parents didn’t speak English when they first came to America so they tried their best.

As Head of B2B Marketing: Single-handedly transformed B2B business in just a few months with a multi-channel strategy spanning content, website, email, SEO, paid search, social, marketing ops, and PR to build awareness, create demand, and drive product usage. As Director of Integrated Marketing: led brand, content, PR, field marketing, and ABM activities for a global Series A B2B startup serving 1300+ customers like IKEA, LVMH, Staples, Claire's, and Costco. Drove +150% organic traffic to website and increased total customer base by 20%.

As Senior Manager, Enterprise Content Marketing: managed the company’s SEO strategy and built a content marketing engine from the ground up, including marketing automation, lead nurturing/scoring, website planning, and an editorial calendar of multimedia B2B content for enterprises and SMBs.
